Pre Wedding shoot in an art Deco Cinema – Kim and Chris

I always love pre wedding shoots, they are the perfect time to meet up and have a good old chat about the forthcoming wedding. And how much had I’d been looking forward to this day ?? A pre wedding shoot in an art Deco Cinema.

A while back Kim and Chris got in touch about me being their wedding photographer, they’d seen my work online and loved my photos. It turns out that they both love film. Kim’s favourites are films by Michel Gondry and Wes Anderson while Chris is a big David Lynch fan…and they both love Twin Peaks! Me too! I was loving the sound of these guys! I’ve always loved the grandeur of old Art Deco cinemas, and really wanted to organise a pre wedding shoot that was something fun for them and reflected their love of film and wowee, this amazing Cinema, has to be one of the most beautiful EVER. It’s luxurious and  lovely and you know how much I love colour! Kim’s lovely outfit complemented the interior of the cinema too! I would like to thank the staff at The Rex in Berkhamstead for letting us use the lovely location. I can’t tell you how happy it made them and me to have permission to explore and photograph here. You really should check it out and go and go enjoy a film there too. I intend to!
