Wow! Gita and Dom organised a festival wedding at Ardeley Farm in Hertfordshire, plus a London City church wedding, on the same day! I’m not sure how they managed to arrange it all, so many great diy, fun and fabulous elements in one jam packed day! I really love photographing festival weddings they have a relaxed and fun vibe, always! And this one certainly had it all.
We met up a few months earlier for their pre wedding shoot in Greenwich and I got to know them and find out more about their day. They are adorable, we had such a great shoot that day, in the weeks that followed we exchanged messages and the excitement built up. I just couldn’t wait to see the pair of them get married. Clearly they are made for each other – this shows so much in how they interact. Gita told me how she’d found my website after searching and declared to Dom “I’ve FOUND OUR photographer” I was so happy they did!
Take a look at what was an immense and love filled day, it involved a beautiful ceremony in Temple Church, Fleet Street, a ride to Hertfordshire in the cutest little red 2CV and then a terrific and fun packed afternoon at Church Farm in Ardeley. Gita and Dom and helpers had turned the massive field into a brilliant festival, where they enjoyed the day of their dreams. Guests camped in the adorable camping village, there was a gin tent, a craft tent for making a robot (Dom’s little brother had that idea), and a Ceilidh that everyone joined in with.
There were some of the most heart warming and hilarious speeches I’ve ever heard, campfires and a silent disco! Take a look at this selection of photos that tell the story of their wedding. Gita and Dom, I couldn’t be happier to show you this and to have shared your wonderful day.
Temple Church is tucked away in a quiet courtyard inside a maze of buildings in the heart of London, it’s a beautiful 12th Century building and is the one featured in Dan Brown’s Da Vinci code. There is a scene set inside the Temple Church in the story that was also in the film!
Thank you to Christine Wehrmeier and Amanda Morgan who helped at various parts of this amazing day.

So beautiful 🙂 :’-) 😀
Love the contrast between the city ceremony and the festival reception. Good work with the lighting in that church, it can be pretty dark in there!
A beautiful wedding really well captured – love their little red wedding car, so cute!
Plenty of beautiful moments here Sharon – they must love them, well done
Loving the wonderful pics
Lovely work Sharon, looks like a fun wedding!
I used to work at that farm! Fabulous place for a wedding – and you captured the whole day beautifully from beginning to end, as always. The pictures make me feel like I was there. 🙂
Gorgeous location for a wedding and equally gorgeous images.
All looks really good from here on my Macbook and Safari
