Jenny and Robin had a festival wedding at The Clophill Centre, in Bedfordshire. It was my first time at The Clophill centre and wow, it’s a perfect venue for couples full of ideas who want to throw a big diy wedding day. The Clophill centre was formerly a fruit farm and there’s 14 acres of natural surroundings. It’s an ideal venue for a festival wedding with plenty of space for those wishing to camp over. There is a very sweet wooded walk through to a clearing where family and friends waited in the sunshine for Jenny’s arrival. Jenny looked amazing, wearing her mother’s wedding dress which had been remade into a new gown for her.
Their very relaxed wedding day, was lots of fun. Jenny’s uncle Bez had written a beautiful poem and acted as celebrant, guests sang songs and smiled. Look out for the lovely touches, including lots of origami flowers made by Jen’s dad and a table plan themed around canal boat names, as they live on a narrowboat.
There was a glitter tent, afternoon tea, and a ceilidh. Plus they had their silent disco in the woods, with a rail of dressing up clothes – a gamble if it had been wet, but it worked brilliantly! How can you not love a bride who can look gorgeously serene all day, then dance the night away wearing oversized lashes, festival face glitter and a fancy dress costume over her wedding gown! I wont waffle on, just take a look at the photos and see for yourself.
Thank you to Megan of Bai and Elle for helping on the day too! Jenny and Robin, you organised a brilliant wedding day, I’m so glad to have been with you and to be able to give you your photos to remember all the fun!
