South farm is a glorious Summer wedding venue, there’s quaint gypsy caravans, packed gardens, even a family of ducklings on the pond. Hayley looked amazing, she chose a bespoke 1950’s inspired gown from Joanne Fleming, she beamed as she showed me her dress, her shoes, her flowers. Even though she knew it was her big day, the day she’d dreamed of, she was thinking of other people all the time. She organised for her nana to have time with the make up artist and hair dresser so she would feel special. It was obvious she enjoyed making other people happy. There were just 15 guests for the ceremony, with everyone else joining them afterwards for their reception in the main barn. When I arrived on the morning of the wedding, she was with her family all decorating the venue. Everyone was ready in plenty of time, which gave me extra opportunities to take photos of Hayley, her lovely sister and bridesmaid Emma, and their Dad ‘Papa Smurf’! He was the proudest man on this day! The registrars were the lovely, such great words, it was all very touching. South farm is one of the very best in the area, it borders Herts, Beds, and Cambs and has so much to offer! Each visit to South Farm I like to make each set of photos special to that couple. I look at these and really feel they sum up their day. It was so relaxed and the schedule of the day meant that I got the most time ever with the couple, which is reflected in just how many photos of the couple there are here!

Hayley’s nan really enjoyed ‘getting the treatment’ it showed just what a lovely close family they all are. She loved it! I love that she had her toes and fingernails done a ‘modern tangy orange’ by Emma.
Hayley and Brett wanted no theme, just the pretty flowers and they collected (and drank) all these little biere blond bottles, which were lovingly cleaned by Brett and lace stuck around them. The little striped bags on each place setting held these sweeties.
Hayley and Brett had a beautiful Wedding day, their vows, their meal, the speeches, their party. Just how a wedding should be. There doesn’t have to be any set rules, just do what you feel is right for you. And enjoy each moment. SO many times I heard Brett say how beautiful his wife looked. And she did. Congratulations to you two, you deserve such happiness, Im so glad to have been a part of this.
