Emily and Adam love travel and all things vintage, they planned a private ceremony at Woolwich Town Hall. We took photos at Greenwich before the family enjoyed an intimate meal together. This was followed 2 weeks later by a fantastic party at the British Schools Museum in Hitchin. Emily and Adam – WOW you know how to plan and enjoy a wedding…this two day celebration was just pure joy to photograph. You deserve every happiness together, such a creative and thoughtful couple. Emily told me “The most important thing to us was to convey a personality in our wedding. We’d like to think that we did this by expressing our characters, our interests and the adventures we’re going to have in how we chose to do things. In honesty, everything just fell together because we made a rule of only doing things we REALLY wanted to….so really the best way to describe our theme is to say it was totally ‘us’! Everything was hand made by the couple. Emily made her dress and her gorgeous bouquet (from vintage Stoke pottery brooches) She made the buttonholes out of vintage maps and their party was just amazing, loads of fun things and sweet touches. Their home made ‘snuff bar’ was amazing, as too were the cocktails in vintage tea cups. I especially loved their first dance and Emily’s massive smile as Adam seemed to throw her around the dance floor.
