Steph and Benni travelled to Great Gransden, a little village in Cambrdigeshire for their German legal wedding blessing. Steph had grown up here and it was significant to return to the church where she had been christened and gone to Sunday school. It was a very small group of family who still live in the UK and some who, like the couple made the journey from Germany for this ceremony. The blessing was lovely and afterwards followed an afternoon tea. Their gorgeous dog Duri also came with them for the Wedding and features in the photos. I had a Skype meeting with them a few months leading up to this day and we had chance to meet briefly when they arrived in England. I loved being part of their small intimate day, everyone was so friendly, it proves that big or small, the reason for marrying is clear and that and the unity is what I enjoy photographing. Steph wore an elegant linen dress with sweet red, pink and cream roses and bright green chrysanthemums. A matching coloured braided ribbon band in her hair and flowers tucked into her boots. They photos are simply touching moments of love and happiness. I understood how they longed for photos in great weather of the beautiful English countryside and I’m so happy they chose me to be the one to give them this. Congratulations to you both, this was a memorable day for me as well as you.
