The Lake district has a special place in this couples’ hearts. Steph and Nick organised a fantastic Autumn diy village hall party. Their service was at the beautiful church in Rydal Hall, with a blessing in the grounds. Steph looked stunning in her Eliza Jane Howell gown, and was driven to the church by her mum! After the ceremony and some time in the grounds of Rydal Hall, we all boarded a 1955, double-decker, vintage bus and were driven through the narrow lanes to Kentmere, where a cosy welcome awaited them. The venue flowers complimented Steph’s lovely Autumnal bouquet, and Autumn leaves floated gracefully from the rafters. The twinkly lights transformed the remote village hall into the perfect cosy spot for the party! There was a conker match and two most magnificent pretty cakes, one of cheese and a huge naked cake too! The day was full of fun, beautiful speeches, proud family, smiles and lots of dancing. I really loved being part of the day, and right from the getting ready to the end of the party, Steph and Nick smiled and enjoyed it all.
