At a wedding family who have traveled a long way to share a couple’s special day are often thanked in the speeches. This was very much the case at Verity and Andrew’s wedding at Redcoats Farmhouse! Being Australian, Andrew had alot of family and friends who had made the journey to share in this very special day. Verity and Andrew are one of the loveliest couples I’ve met, and it was clear that everyone was happy for them and for those who were able to witness their marriage. They seemed made for each other. Destined. I loved how their delightful, creative table names showed photos of them at the same ages, miles apart and living different lives, until they were finally drawn together. They are an extremely fun and kind couple, who had the best of days, both so very happy to be married. The joy rang out through the day, the guests and family all joined in that shared pleasure that these two are now one. This is what I love about weddings, the magic that tied everything up. I loved photographing them and the lush gardens at Redcoats looked amazing, so English, just the setting the couple wanted. There was also much silliness and laughter, a couple who dont take themselves too seriously, they loved it all. Verity was very laid back and happy, the bridal preparations were calm and joyous yet excited for the ceremony! I was really touched as her bridesmaids all helped her in her dress, they paused and offered that final lovely task of zipping up to Verity’s lovely mum. What a joy to see you daughter so happy and for two families to be united like this. The speeches were perfect! Andrew thanked each of Verity’s friends and acknowledged what a great job her chosen bridesmaids did, but equally she could have chosen any of her great friends that were had shared the day.
Thank you so much for choosing me to be the one to share your day and retell the story. I wish you both every happiness in your new married life together. You make a fantastic couple and an example for all of us there of the love and grattitude you share and extend to those you love. I’d like to wish you every happiness together, you really deserve it.
