Joci and Tom flew back from Australia to be married in front of all their family and friends at the Amadeus in Little Venice. I met up with them beforehand and we grabbed the last bit of the winter light, for a walk to the canal at Maida Vale. Joci looked beautiful in her Karen Willis Holmes gown, which she had brought over from Australia, she had eucalyptus in her bouquet and gorgeous custom made blue shoes too. As this wedding was just before Christmas, all the guests were asked to wear black tie, with a ‘touch of sparkle’ this ranged from novelty antlers, to fairy lights and bell adornments. Tom chose mistletoe and sprouts(!) he loves them..for his and his groomsmens’ buttonholes. It was such a beautiful ceremony, with a lovely hand-fasting ritual, which both mums performed. I really loved photographing this wedding, everyone was so friendly and definitely in the Christmas spirit, there was delicious food and lots of dancing and the happiest of couples at the centre of it all. One of my favourite moments is when Tom popped outside the pub where they both got ready and saw his bride for the first time.
