Emma and Adam asked for their pre wedding shoot to be at Hoo Hill Maze, they had often passed, and really fancied visiting, so I arranged it for us to photograph there. I had met Emma and Adam when Emma was a bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding at South Farm. The couple also brought their cute Chihuahua Dwayne with them, he seemed to know the way out when we got lost! The maze is fantastic, it was designed and planted by the owner John in 1983 it measures 30 metres square and 2 metres high with a big 6 metre square centre that houses a lovely wooden structure to climb up and survey the maze. The heavens opened up just before we met but the skies cleared and we had fun exploring, getting lost and chatting together. I loved the light beams shining through the deep hedges and the out of focus droplets of rain in the photos below. I can’t wait for their wedding. You guys are awesome, and how cute is little Dwayne!
