2016 has been one of my happiest years. I’ve had outdoorsy festival weddings, barn weddings, London pub weddings, riverside weddings, fancy London venue weddings and I’ve loved them all. I’ve had engagement shoots canal side, in forests, Brick Lane graffiti, London parks, in bluebells, and an Art Deco cinema. I’ve enjoyed exploring London and the uk and had some fabulous overseas trips.I love that this is my job. I really connected with so many of you and made some proper friends along the way. I love the variety but it’s the PEOPLE, it’s YOU and how you interact and have fun that is key! I’ve loved hearing from past couples and cherish things I’m told … like how special and amazed you felt, seeing your photos and reliving your day. I strive to make each new couple feel exactly like that. So here’s my 2016 round up, a mammoth task but I’ve loved reliving your days and have included something from every wedding I’ve photographed this year and included your words. Take a look and a read. Hours on my feet, brain constantly busy, late drives home, sitting on the train with all my gear are all forgotten when I look at these photos and read the words you sent me. They blow me away. It’s YOU who I want to make happy. In doing that I find happiness myself.

“We wanted our pictures to be fun and colourful and that’s exactly how they are. We didn’t even think we looked that good until we saw how amazing the photos were. When we look at all our wedding photos from the day we relive every single second of happiness, fun and laughter. The photos are absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!”
“Sharon made us feel so relaxed in front of the camera (something we are not use to, and always feel awkward) she made sure she got every shot to highlight the most important day of our lives.”

“Sharon really is incredibly talented and clearly loves her work and it shows in her photos. People say that choosing a great photographer is one of the most important things you can do on your wedding day and I completely agree. It is such a joy to be able to relive how we felt by looking back on our photos and seeing it all captured there.”
“Sharon puts so much of herself in her work and makes an extraordinary effort to get to know you as a couple; I genuinely consider her a friend and not just our photographer. She has such a wonderful personality and it’s been a pleasure getting to know her.”
Kim + Chris Ridings Barn, Cheshunt
“Sharon’s photos are beyond amazing. Her passion for photography shines through in all the stunning images she takes. Her love of colour pops out of in the vibrancy she achieves and her unassuming presence means she’s always there to capture all the little moments that made us smile on the day (even those moments that get lost in the wedding hubbub that you didn’t even realise passed you by). The pictures of our guests were priceless, for someone that’s never met these people before, she captured their personalities brilliantly.”

“Meeting Sharon prior to the wedding for an engagement photoshoot is something we would definitely recommend too. Initially very nervous and unsure of being photographed, it really helped us to feel relaxed and enjoy ourselves on our big day. Thank you again Sharon, we are so glad you were there to share our wedding day, we absolutely love our wedding photos”

We live in the States but decided to accommodate our International group of friends and family by hosting our three day wedding event in London. We are so glad we stumbled upon Sharon. Her talent for catching the diversity and essence of not only our bridal gang but also the special and uniqueness of the venues was fantastic. We weren’t so interested in traditional portraiture but more wanted to capture the feel and vibe of the unique spaces: Claridges, St Martin’s in the Fields, The Royal Automobile Club and Masala Grill. Sharon left no stone unturned in capturing the joyful days and events. I would without hesitation recommend her for anyone’s special event. Her photographic eye and sweet wit is contagious.

Being camera shy and uncomfortable being watched and photographed, was one of the elements that I worried about the most. That meant we needed someone who could manage to make us feel comfortable and at ease. Like many couples, we wanted to avoid ending up with photos that felt staged, mundane or embarrassing. All the comments about Sharon’s work being natural, creative, flexible, involved and unique are all very true. Looking back over the photos is an amazing experience but it also takes someone amazing to get those results. More than just photography, it takes a creator of magic visual treasures and if you’re reading this, you’re very close.

“Sharon was the photographer for another friend’s wedding. I saw her engage with the guests, smile throughout the day and seemed to be enjoying every moment. Then I saw the pictures and we immediately emailed her. Apart from the venue Sharon was the first person we booked for our wedding. All I would say is this… her photos are outstanding, effortless and unique, she is an engaging happy and talented person.. and I highly recommend you contact her today… you would be crazy not to!!”

Thank you so much for all you did. We loved looking through every single photo and reliving the day! Thank you for doing such a fab job, we’ve both had numerous comments from friends saying that not only were you capturing the day effortlessly, but that they really enjoyed your presence and company too!
Bex + Tom The Asylum
I’ve had a selection of second shooters this year, but mostly I’ve worked with Paul Grace, we met years ago on Sassy from Assasynation’s workshop and fit together well, it’s super important to have an assistant who knows how you work and most importantly your ethos towards your couples. I seconded for him for Bex and Tom and Natalie and Dave, Paul kindly said this about me “Sharon and I shoot weddings together regularly – our styles compliment each other really well and the photos she takes are always so awesome!”
