Farley’s is the coolest little Hair Salon in Hitchin, I popped back today to take some new photos following a little Salon fitment spruce up. A pair of fantastic giant scissors have arrived, made by the talented metalwork sculpture guys at Arcangel They are exact replica of the pair Felix uses. Look out for them very soon!
In Hermitage road Hitchin, there’s a hair salon like no other. You don’t just go there for the best ever haircut or beard trim. Felix has created the coolest, friendliest salon in Hitchin. The ambience exudes from the place, with the stylish decor, interesting artefacts, great art and THE best music you feel at home. If you haven’t been you have missed out. At the most excellent Farley’s Hair Emporium you get great cuts, good beats and the best chats. The now iconic front window and some pieces inside are the amazing work of Paul Myerscough from Bespoke-Signs. Felix is known for being a stylish gent, with a great taste in art too, so it comes as no surprise that you will see work by local talent Sarah Graham which sits alongside an impressive collection of 1950s art including classics by Tretchikoff. Felix a Hitchin lover runs Historic Hitchin on twitter and was recently featured in The Mercury, you can spot photos of old Hitchin on his chic walls. This is a family run friendly hair salon where you can drink fair trade tea and only cruelty free hair products are used. You’ll find yourself wanting to come back long before you need your next trim.
